Large and Mid Capitalization Team  | Calvin H. Baker | Calvin H. Baker, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Brown Capital Management in 2000 and began his professional career in the industry in 1969. Prior to this, Mr. Baker was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Wisconsin Energy Corporation and a Senior Vice President and Analyst at the Financial Services Corporation of New York. He also worked as a Securities Analyst at Smith Barney, Harris Upham and as a Corporate Loan Officer at Citibank. Cal worked outside of the investment business as an entrepreneur for 15 years. He earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History at Franklin & Marshall College. Cal is currently on the Board of the Walters Art Museum. |

 | Eddie C. Brown | Eddie C. Brown, President, CEO, founded Brown Capital Management in 1983 and began his career in the industry in 1970. Prior to this, Mr. Brown was a Portfolio Manager at T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Irwin Management Company. Ed worked outside of the investment business as an electrical engineer for 5 years. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC). Ed earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Indiana University Graduate School of Business, a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSEE) in Electrical Engineering from Howard University. Ed is active in community affairs, serving on the East Baltimore Development Inc., the Greater Baltimore Committee, and Municipal Mortgage & Equity LLC (MUNIMAE). He is also a member of the Presidents’ Roundtable. Ed was a regular panelist for 23 years on Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street – Nationally televised CNBC Program that ended 12/31/04. He was inducted into the Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser Hall of Fame (1996). |

 | Maurice L. Haywood | Maurice L. Haywood, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Brown Capital Management in 2000 and has been in the financial services industry since 1987. Prior to this Mr. Haywood was a Partner & Investment Analyst at Holland Capital Management and an Assistant Vice President at the First National Bank of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Maurice earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Marketing at J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance at Morehouse College. Maurice is a Member of the CFA Institute and the Baltimore CFA Society, Inc. |

 | Walton D. Pearson | Walton D. Pearson, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Brown Capital Management in 2005 and has been in the industry since 1983. Prior to this, Mr. Pearson was a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Putnam Investments and a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Alliance Capital Management. Walt earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management at St. Francis College, and is a 2006 Graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership Program.
