Kempton M. Ingersol, Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Brown Capital Management in 1999 and has been in the industry since 1989. Prior to this Mr. Ingersol was a Vice President at Dain Rauscher Inc. and a Vice President at Grigsby Brandford & Co.
Kempton earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science at Amherst College. Kempton is a Trustee for the University of Maryland, Baltimore Foundation, Trustee for the University System of Maryland Foundation, and a Mentor for Turning the Corner Achievement Program and other local youth organizations.
